Greatly enjoyed this quirky accommodation with reasonably good and attentive staff from check-in to check-out. We were given brand-new and pet-friendly rooms with clean bed, ear plugs and the free standing bathtub. Our hotel was in an unbeatable location on a slight slope which did n't aid sleep.

The location was perfect and excellent as for me, close to the centre of an ancient and historic town as well as Mermaid Street and all other must-see sights. Besides, the hotel was 2 km away from Royal Mile. The room was tastefully decorated and brand-new and the beds were very clean. Really enjoyed a bath in my separate bathroom.
